81 GS 450 L carb kit/pricing?

After searching about online and not finding a single complete carb kit purchasing option for an 81 450 L, I went into a local shop to see if they knew of where to purchase one. Unfortunately it seems there's not as much demand for a full kit, but I'm still looking at trying to find the least expensive or at least "the most reasonable" price for a carb kit. Suggestions? I figure online I can be the store pricing of over 150 dollars... ha.

You don't need a kit. You need a set of o-rings from cycleorings.com and new fuel bowl gaskets. And if your bike has o-rings on the carb instake boots, cycleorings carry those as well.
And the rebuild instructions from BassCliff's site.

X2... no kit needed. Follow the Carb cleaning tutorial on the page linked in my sig. Get all your o rings from cycle orings (also linked on the page in my sig) do not take shortcuts, they will only make your task harder and cost more in the long run.

While you are at it replace the orings between the intake boots and the head. These are a MAJOR source of air leaks.

boston, get the 450 combo kit. With that and a pair of fuel bowl gaskets you will be gtg.

All I did for my '82 450E was a carb dip, the combo kit from www.cycleorings.com for all new O rings, intake O rings, and the stainless allen heads for the boots and a pair of float bowl gaskets for less than $6 each from Boulevard Suzuki and my carbs are now as good as new... except for re-jetting but that's a whole different can of worms...
