    Carb manifold boots

Just saw this on ebay on a new set of carb boots, never knew or realized this until now. Boot ID: 1 side- 39mm 2nd side 40mm angles 25 degrees and 30 degrees. I'm assuming the 30 degree boots go to the inside and the 25s to the outside? a for the IDs 40mm to the carb and the 39mm to the head? I'm I correct or totally off here? I could have mine all turned around....

you are probably right, I have not measured mine, but I do know that they are not all the same, even the part numbers on them are different, and when I went to put mine back I looked at the parts fiche and installed according to that, plus each boot has a nib sticking out and the air box has like a U indent, I lined up the nib to this U and it seems to be the correct way

Thanks GateKeeper, when I pull my carbs off for their 10 year cleaning ~chuckles~ I'll keep that in mind and look them over.
