I need to get four new intake boots for a 1981 GS650G (connects from carb to heads) and the clamps. Any help of where to find that will be appreciated. Thanks!

That's right. And most importantly, 4 o rings, part number 24. Are your old boots shot ? Hardened or torn ?

they have leaks, maybe hardened or have craks, i did not know regarding the o-rings. I guess that they go by the heads side.

Are you doing your carbs at the same time ? If so, I suggest you order a complete set from Robert Barr. He has the o rings as well as stainless steel bolts for the boots. I can't remember the price, but it was less than $25. Then order the boots and clamps from Boulevard. If not get get everything from Boulevard.

Where are you located? I might have some boots you could have for a good deal.

Yup. The ones from Robert Barr are also allen head, for easier removal. Which I'm sure you already have found out. He is also a member of the GS. Have a look on his site. cycleorings.com.

impact screwdriver, is your friend, if a regular screwdriver will not do it

Use the impact with a few socket extensions, you can reach through the space where the air box goes to get room to whack it.
