    Starter Jet/Choke Tube

Finally got the carbs off and started to clean all the bits....just one question...the starter jet/choke tube is recessed in a tube in the bowl of the carb (when assembled)..is this recess meant have a small hole in the bottom that comes out in the bottom of the bowl?????
thanks for any help guys...hope my poor description gets the meaning across..lol

Those holes in the float bowls get blocked with fuel varnish / other gunk and are often overlooked when cleaning and the choke doesn't work as a consequence. Squirt something through there to check they're clean.
