    450 Carb/spark plug question

If I had a sticking CV carb slide would the RPM's stay around 3k until I blip the throttle then it goes back to 1,100? Also what color am I looking for on spark plugs. I was told my a motorsports technician that the engine can be running just fine even if the plug is white. The reason the plug is white is because of the gas we run today. My carbs are synched perfectly too. Thanks!

Possible but unlikely- the throttle plates do a good job of blocking airflow. You likely got airleak and based on your other post, I'd replace the intake boot o-rings even if they look good.

Just had a thought... make sure your advance mechanism isn't sticking either...
