    Need to synchronize this bike. According to mechanical manual 2&3 carbs need to be half of 1&4 on the balancer, Is that necessary?

    Not really, and if you have a 4-1 pipe, not at all. It is done to compensate somehow for the crossover tube in the exhaust.

    It's not 2 & 3 at 1/2 of 1 & 4, it's a half dot lower than 1 & 4, a tiny difference.

    I have done them both ways, can't tell the difference when riding.

      Also, turn the idle up to 2500 rpm when syncing. This helps the bike run smoother in the range the bike is ridden in. Ray.

        I have a twin sync, so I'm only using 2 hoses to synch 4 carbs. Would it be more accurate to synch 1 with 4 and then 2 with 3?

          You really need to do all four at the same time as changes to one can affect the others.
