    Intake Boots for 81 GSX400

Where can I buy them besides the dealer. $46 a piece

They are harder to find and are slightly smaller than the 450's

I've only ever seen a parts fiche for a 400 at the dealer, but never online.

It might have the same part number as the center two on a 750, but I'd have to find the part number first to compare to :P

    Thanks
    Stephen.

Have you called Z1 Enterprises? That is where I got the ones for my GPz.

$46 a piece!? Ouch! That's nearly as much as I paid for both mine from Boulevard... Pity they're not the same... actually have you tried Boulevard Suzuki for a price? They may be cheaper...

          Would #33 be them?

A much more reasonable $24.00 each.

Thanks 7981GS but that GN400 is a single cylinder and the boulevard doesn't have have a listing for the gs400 in 1981. Or anything 4 valve twin.

Pete, the difference between mine and the 450's is the intake size on the head and bolt spacings. That means they are specific to the bike but I have a feeling that a 1000 or 1100 center boots would fit but i have to get the part numbers for mine first on monday.

Yeah that rings a bell now, I remember someone else on here finding the same thing and the GSX boots just weren't quite the same.

So, from www.cmsnl.com, you're right boot part # is 13110-44200 and left # is 13120-44200. And no, neither Boulevard nor Alpha Sports reverse lookups show any matching parts for those numbers... bugger.
