    help with 1979 gs 850g carb rebuild

    my name is dave i am in minnesota and was wondering if anyone can help me find a kit or rebuild my carbs my phone is 507-357-4222. carbs are currently off bike

    cycleorings.com for an O-ring kit. Don't forget new O-rings for your intake pipe boots.

      Yep, You DO NOT need a kit. 90% of our carbs just need new orings, and bowl gaskets. Gaskets can be had on Z1enterprizes.com, and the Orings you can get in a complete set all labeled and sorted out for you from Cycleorings (a member of this site) As stated above, do not forget the intake boot orings. Replacing them is a MUST DO.

      Click the link in my Sig, there's a whole world of info for you there. incl;uding a well tried and true carb rebuild tutorial that IF FOLLOWED with care, will net you clean well set up carbs that will be good for years to come. Just remember, shortcuts only seem to be easier. With these bikes, do it right the first time or you will get to do it again and again.

        i hope he doesnt need new needle and seats, there 24-30 each carb if available
