VM fuel T- suggestions from the Hive mind..

So as it always seems to happen, a perfectly nice fitting fuel t on a set of VMs ive rebuilt for another GSR member has shrunk in the matter of a couple of days and now fits a bit sloppy in its port. I've tried a few different things I've read to get the rubber to swell back up or expand a bit, it's currently soaking in a concoction now. But I dunno if it'll work and of course Z1s site says they're out of the Alu/oring replacements...
    Any suggestions fellas?

Buy a little metal lathe and start cranking them out.
      I'll buy a few sets.

These fuel Ts don't use orings. they're milled out of...whatever, Alu, pot metal..., and then the ends are coated in rubber...
        I
Should correct this..they actually look to be cast honestly...

Just because Suzuki went cheap doesn't mean we have to.
The carb bodies are the same as the older ones that used o rings.

The spacing is incorrect... Already looked at that option fuel Ts on the VMs are wider than the CV.

If I could afford even a cheap lathe, ($1000) I'd already have em

So sell a fuel fuel Ts, in any length required..

What length do you need? I might have one with me.

I have a couple actually, they all just suffer from the same issue...
I don't have em in front of me to measure but they're roughly 1.5 times longer than CV fuel Ts. I can give you an exact in the AM..

China freight. Love that place. Again..4-600 bucks. Checked the other day when I was there.

I could possibly make some grooves with a dremmel...not exactly precise. If they were for my bike id give it a go...but these are for someone else and I don't want to let em down with a leaky janky fuel T..

What strikes me as odd is that ALWAYS the transfer tubes (which have the same coating) seem to fit tight, never shrink...but the Ts do. I did notice the transfer tubes seem to be brass with the coating over it, whereas the T, as I said, is something else entirely.

How does a phone change your ability to spell?

Does not matter if you are using a phone, a "smart" phone, laptop, desktop, whatever, the secret is PROOFREAD BEFORE HITTING "SEND".
