    I'm hoping Pete or some other members will suggest the jets and needles to try and not try... saving me some time...

      Shot you a PM before about the pods... no quick easy answer at the moment I'm afraid...

      As for the airbox, I can't remember if mine has mesh in there or not, but I do know there was a plastic type mesh thing that held the filter foam in place.

      I still have it so I'll have to take a peek next time I get a chance.

        I have an 82 gs450TX and it definitely has fairly stiff metal mesh in the airbox where yours was apparently located. There are plastic ridges in the airbox that are designed to hold the filter between 2 plastic pieces.
