Carb screw sizes? List somewhere

    Carb screw sizes? List somewhere

    Is there by chance somewhere that lists the sizes of the various screws on GS carbs? I am looking specifically for a list for a 1980 GS550E. Searched around and couldnt find anything. Want to change to all socket cap screws while I have them apart. Thank you

    this might help

    Caps M5X16
    Bowl M5X16
    M5 flat washer 16 pcs for the Caps
    M5 lock washer 16 pcs for the Bowls

    Upper Rail M5X12 Lower Rail M6X12

    16 pcs required for the Caps and 16 for the Bowls
    8 pcs required for the upper rail and 8 for the lower rail


    Please note this is what was used for my carbs, on my 83 GS750E

      Just pull the parts fiche for your bike from Alpha Sport.

      Or measure the size and threads from one of your old screws.

      So on my bike, the carb bowl screw is 02112-0416A - an M4 16mm screw.



      The part no. has the bolt size.
