    Jets

I was wanting to order a kit of 100-160 main jets of ebay. They list them for 77-79 gs 550. I have an 2 82's. But on jets r us all year 550 main jets are the same. Same lenght, thread pitch and head size. Will 77-79 work on an 82? Any help would be great.

find out if you use large round or small round or hex head and go off that. based on the statement above you should be fine, if the description matches its a go.

if the jet description matches, as stated, then there should be no problem. even different carbs use the same main jets.
large round mikuni's in '77 vm carbs, 91 gsxr, mid 90s katana.. these are just the ones I have on hand, and just using them as example.

What size do you need? I'm up in Columbus and have a few different sizes. I might be that way Monday or Tuesday.
