Anyone used Dial a Jet on a thumper?

Considering using one for my dirt riding around here, huge elevation changes and I do not have a CV carburetor.
All hype and hoopla or does it really work?
    Thanks!

Before reading on keep in mind that my experience was 15-20 years ago in the UK - I presume the thing hasn't changed.

It'll probably depend how you ride Tom. They don't work on anything less than 1/2 throttle for tuning in so I'm guessing the same would happen as you went up and down in altitude (we can't go very high over here as our mountains are only mole hills to you guys).

They are a cinch to fit though and if they're cheap enough it's got to be worth a go
