I have a pilot screw stuck on carb #4. I tried heating the outside of the carb up, but, the screw is buggered up and won't allow me enough bite to get the screw out. Any suggestions?

Hey Ness-
Yeah, I used the tutorial the whole time. The problem was the screw is buggered up, and my screw driver won't bite into the screw. Not really sure what to do.

Did you see the part about cutting a new slot in the screw head with a dremmel wheel? You will have to chop off the screw tunnel first though, or just cut down into it.Ed

Thanks Ed, I appreciate that, as I was just wondering if I could cut part of that tunnel cut off.

I had the same thing happen. I was able to use an 1/8 drill bit and the corrisponding "easy out" screw extractor. I wanted to try that method first before cutting the tunnel. It worked really well.
