    Pretty cool little tutorial

Basics of the carb systems functionings..

    MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
    1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550

NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

    Hi,

That link has been on my site for years. Thanks for the reminder.

    VM Carb Tuning Guide

It's the Mikuni Motorcycle Carburetor Theory 101 - from Ian Williams Tuning.

    Thank you for your indulgence,

        Hi,

Ha! I'm getting to be a pretty old member myself. Sometimes I forget what I have on my own site.

        Thank you for your indulgence,

It tells me that I need to look at my pilot jets. Great info.

I consolidated a lot of information here and compared to my jetting results using a WB O2 sensor.

The subject link is one of the references.

eh... you guys arnt THAT old...... Altho I did hear once that basscliff had the first webpage on gs's. It was written in cuniform, on a clay tablet.... He considered himself as a prophet then too.

All kidding aside, this site and the majority of the folks (especially the senior... err seasoned members) here are a wealth of knowledge and are always willing to share.

Thanks Guys! Your responsible for helping me change a perfectly good GS into something else... Couldnt have done it without ya!
