I went to the local Lordco and asked them to get some solvent that is powerful enough to disolve a body. They laughed and brought me this stuff.



Now when I took some of the jets and needles out a few of the o-rings disintegrated and or were torn. Good thing I got my replacement kit on your advice from http://cycleorings.com/ thanks guys!

I took it all apart and I just want to get some final advice if I should take them apart further. It looks to me like theres still some rubber pieces here and there and I would be a really sad guy if I had to repair and replace them. What do you guys think?

Yes, pull all the bodies off the rack and dunk them

Take em apart. You'll need to anyway to replace the orings on the fuel tubes.

Another question is if you look closely one of the pilot fuel screws is quite a bit bigger than the others. Is that normal? If not should I get another one?

Cannot tell from the pic, but where are your air screws and choke assemblies. If those are still on the carbs, don't dunk them yet. Also, pull the slides they have rubber spacers that should not be dipped

Now before we do the o-rings they need to go through the cleaning station.
I sprayed, brushed and soaked the jets and needles. Now its time for the new o-rings.

dont forget to take something and poke the crud outta the bowl drains. i used a matchstick and a wire from a wire brush.
