Anyone know where I can find a gas tank for a 78 GS1000 or maybe another tank that would fit it? The bike was given to me without one and I can't seem to find anything on the web. Any help would be great

If you are in the US this one is now officially on the market... That's a 1000 it's on however the petcock fitted is not ideal (some conflict with carb top) so you would need to change it out for something else, perhaps one of these aftermarket ones would clear:
