Reading thru the threads here on plug chops, they all say pretty much the same thing. Depending where your problem is, throttle position, is where you shut her down and take a reading. Question tho... Can't this be done stationary? Or is there a reason to do it while riding? Not looking for a short cut, just asking.-Mark

If you do attempt it, be sure to video it in case of mishaps, You've been framed could do with a few more bike clips.

If you need more load than you have distance, try to find an uphill run for the chop. The grade will increase the load and shorten the needed distance and speed.

You can do it in the comfort (and smog...) of your garage. Pull 1, 2 or 3 plug leads to suit, apply rear brake and away you go. You won't of course get a reading on the plugs where you have pulled the leads.
And of course, if you pull 2 leads and your bike is a twin.......79 GS1000S
