Am I nuts or is this thing upside down?

Just installed a new Vance & Hines 4 in 1 onto my 850 and, by the way, it sounds friggin' awesome! - Anyway, someone at the factory apparently had trouble telling up from down -- I think. Is this so I can read the label while I'm riding?

Uh, and by the way, I don't know how that big yellow thumb got in this post. Must have done it by accident -

Where's the hanger, I can't see it in the pics. If the hanger tab is on the bottom, it's probably a left-side muffler. I didn't know V&H made any lefty side pipes, or even sold a 4 into 2 that would come with a left side pipe.

There's a good chance the badge is just upside down. I'm not sure how to change a badge, but maybe call V&H and see what they say.

Your badge is upside down as was mine. Called em about it, they had a rash of them few months back. I just peeled mine off with a plastic scraper and re hung it with hi temp rtv

Mine was right side up, but it fell off with less than 500 miles on it.

Take it off. Looks better without it anyway.

I wouldn't care a bit as to whether it was upside down or not, unless that is you can possibly get a free set or some other compensation out of it from the manufacturer or whomever you got it from.

My old pipes worked OK. There were no holes, but they had a ton of rust on them - that's mainly why I replaced them.
