    Spare tank ?

Just wanted some advice, so far i cannot find the right info to see if this 88 model tank is the same as the one for my 81, anyone know or can point me to the resource?

And in your opinion, would this be a good little investment to have a spare? Would this require a lot of money to be put into it?

Sorry for the shallow post lol

    Looks a bit rusty.

For fuel purposes you'd need to reseal it. Cost about $40 to do it yourself...

I can't speak about fixing the paint job if that's important to you. That cost will vary with the skill level of who does it.

All in all, I don't think there's a big reason to have a spare tank. On my end, I purchased a used tank to do my re-sealing and custom paint job on and plan to simply sell the original I had. This way, if I had any huge errors I could easily just have put the old one back on.

I have two extra tanks that I acquired randomly. So I have made a second seat, grabbed side panels and done a second paint scheme.

Working on a third "dress" for her now.

      I am a sick man.
