    Missing o ring...

I just got to tearing down my carbs and lo and behold I find a 0 ring missing off one of the mixture screws. This is the first time the carbs have been totally taking down so it must have be a mistake at the factory no? It has always idled a bit weird from the get go and most everyone waved it off as these are those new CV carbs things. Guess not huh. Weird thing though, you would have thought it would show up on the plug not burning right...never did, just idled a bit weird now and then.

New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.

Are you SURE there is no o-ring?

They don't just fall out, sometimes they have to be extracted. I use a pointy drywall screw for the job.

Just think how much better it will run when you replace it!

this is a huge newb question, but not dealing with orings a whole lot, do the orings in these carbs create that much of an issue if old or missing, would they creat a mpg issue as well
