    1983 gs650g carburetor specs

Hi I am in the process of cleaning and adjusting my 1983 gs650g dohc. I don't have the shop manual for the bike so I'd like to know some basic specs like the float height and the stock jetting...

Also, I added some pod filters and the bike already had a 4 into 1 exhaust. I don't know if the previous owner had rejeted the bike after adding the exhaust so if someone has a similar setup on his gs650 I'd like to know what it is...

    Thanks

    1) There is a sticky at the top of this forum with carb specs for all GS models

    2) You can download a factory Suzuki service manual for free from basscliff's website. Specs within. http://members.dslextreme.com/users/bikecliff/

    3) Carb rebuild tutorial linked in my signature, or on basscliff's site.

    4) Rejetting is a pain. A Dynojet kit will save you much time.

Yes, indeed and if you got cheap pods than more fun awaits you!
If you still have stock airbox setup, don't lose it- your bike might miss it or others might like it!
