    Pete,

I just received a dyno chart showing the pull on the GS450S....40.5 HP at the rear wheel, totally stock. 36.5 ft/lbs torque. So the motor sounds healthy, I can't wait to try it! The mixture screw settings were the only modification. GS450SJIP

Nice! I'd like to get mine dyno'd one day but I'll get the tuning finished first then see how I go... it's not all that cheap so I'd like to make the most of it.

Be interesting how those figures compare to what Suzuki says they should be...

        Pete,
Actually, 1 hour of dyno time is just under $100.00, at least here. I got a complete printout showing Horsepower, torque and Air-Fuel ratio throughout the RPM range..With stock airbox-filter, main and pilot jets etc, only a mixture setting change, the A/F ratio was right at 15:1. I am not at sea level, but close to it, and the temperature was about 30 degrees F during the test.
I think Suzuki rates the motor at 42 hp, I don't know if that's at the motor or rear wheel.

Cool, if I could get it for $100 I'd be laughin'.

One of the guys found out how much to get his brother's R6 on a dyno and it was $400! That may have included some tuning time though whereas I'm really just looking for what it puts out etc. and some AFR readings.

I'll finish with the mains and mixture screws then I might make a call or two.

And I'm pretty sure manufacturer spec's are at the crank too...
