Every train I have ever been on has been pleasant, how sad

How is the train cramped I thought like 2 people lived in Australia... why does it smell? Do the marsupials ride along too?

Nah they just don't put enough trains on in peak hour here so it gets to be standing room only... and there are too many people who don't understand the concept of personal hygiene... then there's the people who ride their bicycle to the train and shower when they get to work so they get on the train smelling like... well I'm sure you get the point.. haha

Hey all I am waiting for tons of OEM parts to come and it got me thinking more about the finish of my carbs I was talking about earlier, here is the explanation of what happened to them. They feel like the are literally carved out of stone.

I have had Berrymens do that to carbs also, on a couple of occasions. I am not sure why but it seams to happen to the carb bodies that are thicker at the throat areas. Alot of 70's carbs, I always figured Mikuni had made the carbs from an alloy and there was a chemical reaction. Also noticed it happens more frequently with Berrymens that has been used a few times. It will leave a blackish dusty film on the carbs after a good dip. For the most part I just wash them real well with hot soapy water after the dip and then blow them out clean. I am not sure of the cause but have seen it a few times.

There really isn't a dusty residue anymore after boiling them and scrubbing them, but I am just really worried that in some deep holes in places I couldn't scrub there is residue that is going to be washed into the engine when he gas flows through.

Since I spent good money on OEM parts to fix my leak, I don't want it all to be a waste of time since the metal got all weird. Basically I was wondering if I should refinish the inside of the bowls or the carbs themselves. I tried to do some research, but couldn't find much other than this:

let em soak in some gas overnight, or for a day or more....not much else you can do...at this point..

Good call, yeah this seems like my last bet, but at the same time they don't leave a residue anymore I am just paranoid.

As long as you've cleaned them as thoroughly as you can and have blown compressed air through all the passages I wouldn't worry about it.
