A paper hole punch is the right size for the screw holes.
BTW, start to finish it takes about 5 min. to make a gasket like these. Cut out the outside shape with sissors or x-acto, inshape with X-acto. Hole punch for holes. Many times the store bought gaskets have extra holes you don't need. No need to cut these out if your carbs have no use for the extra cutouts.Last edited by Nessism; 10-03-2012, 12:18 PM.Ed

I recently bought bowl and top gaskets for $16 from
here :
they worked, but the bowl gaskets are actually a little big... the material tries to "bunch up" as you stuff it under the lip around the carb body.
Very dissapointed. But they did work.1980 GS1000G - The Beast - GOING... GOING... yup, it's gone. I'm bikeless !!! GAaaahh !!!

I know the thread is old but it's the only search entry so far for "Sirius con".
-1 for Sirius con (so far) I ordered a valve cover gasket for my GS750, they sent me a GS1100 gasket.
It's okay they certainly will replace the part, but it takes two weeks in shipping... That's a month delay error and riding with a knocking valve...

Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.Comment

Hmmm...My experience is that I have ordered many gaskets from them over several years and never once got a wrong part. So you got the lucky 1 in 100.000 transactions..it happens.
