Check on Basscliff's site, there is a step by step on there for VM carbs. terrylee

The rebuild tutorial is linked on the GSR homepage, in the garage section. Look for the VM carb rebuild instructions.

I followed the instructions and they worked very well. I did have one issue with my fuel rails between the carbs. I have the one piece type where the entire tube is covered in a rubber sheath. I guess our models/year had two types. I re-used it.. and it did start leaking after a bit. I ordered the new ones slotted for o-rings. All but two fit perfectly with the o-rings that came with it. But two of the rings would not fit in the ccarb openings. I had to use the thinner o-rings that came with my Cycle-O-Rings kit for two of the rings. All is good.
