Height adjustment there is critical
The height of the slides is changed by loosening that nut on top and screwing the bolt in or out - that's how you sync the slides, whether on the bench or with the sync toolLast edited by Big T; 10-30-2012, 05:54 PM.1978 GS 1000 (since new)

I have been using these instructions, and do not understand the part (16.) about the manual sync FULLY CLOSED POSITION and FULLY OPEN POSITION instructions..... cant figue out "slotted screw" etc.
BUT, when I open the sldies all the way all are the same distance from the top, and when I close them they are all about 1-2mm airspace from the bottom.82 gs1100e FAUX Skunk
