    Carbon build up inside exhaust

Due 10 years of poor carb settings and old o-rings, I imagine I have a build up of carbon coating the inside of the exhaust.

I guess my manifolds are narrower, by a few millimeters, no proof really, just notice it when I change my oil.

The header requires removal for oil/filter changes.

Any value in trying to clean it out?

Can't hurt but I doubt it would make much difference. I'd say running it clean for awhile would clean it out on its own.
I'd check the baffle if you are running one.

An Italian tune up would work wonders.

I thought it might be like most americans with high cholesterol, narrowing the artery.

        Less flow more stick.
