Runnin close to mint..
Finally got the tires on and carbs straight, man what a diff.having them synced-returns right down to base idle nicelyI do have a tiny tad hesitation at a stop, not sure if I should try richening or leaning/ or thru bottom fuel pilot or side air pilot screw? Still need to ck.set timing with my new T-light from harborfreight but she's close....

Turn each in ( richer ) 1/8 and see what it does then. If not better, then return them back out the 1/8..to where they are now..and then each out ( leaner ) 1/8 to compare .MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I haven't vacuum synced the carbs, probably done now for this year. I've got my fuel pilot's at 3/4 and readjusted my air pilot's to 1 1/4.

You running electronic ignition or points and concensor? If points, then I would consider just getting new ones and be done with all new stuff right from jump street...youll be glad with the piece of mind that all has been addressed properly.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
