    78-1000 airbox boots

Not finding any parts numbers for boots on skunk. Was wondering if this would work, be interchangeable? This is for 79-850N and some 750's

    Part# 13728-45010

I know from experience that the airbox boots for my 79 850G fit my 78 1000C just fine. You're right though about not being able to find a part number for the 1000 air box boots, weird.

Thanks for confirmation. On another note. I noticed you were looking at an exhaust for one of your 1000's ?

I ordered new ones for a 78 750 and used them on my 78 1000. Takes just a little tweaking but you can make it happen.

Also good to know. What was the tweaking to make it happen?

This is great to know as having the carbs off and on so many times recently have tweaked one side of air box. Found air box on Ebay miss labeled as an 80 model. Not having to fight them on and off will be a joy. Come on cyber Monday?
