    Airbox question

I'm getting ready to weatherstrip my box and seen a few airboxes that have snorkels and was just curious if my 1982 GS1100G is supposed to have one?

    Hi,

Yes, yours should have a snorkel on the back.

See the air intake repair guide on my little website for more pictures.

    Thank you for your indulgence,

        Hi,

Yours will look similar to this. My index finger is on the snorkel.

You might have to try and find an entire airbox in eBay or see if anyone in the Parts Wanted or Parts for Sale sections can help you.

        Thank you for your indulgence,

        BassCliff

            Hi,

I have a friend who says that your bike will run fine without a snorkel. This is one of his bikes without the snorkel:

He also has a spare if you want one. Let me know and I'll send you his email.

            Thank you for your indulgence,
