A lot of parts for the RS's are simply "not available" - which surprises me being that they are still making new ones at the factory.
Jets, gaskets, and screws are still available - if that is what you need. I've used both JetsRUs and Z1 for jets. Depends on which jet you need as to who has the better deal - so it's a toss up as to who to go with.Comment

well took 1981 gs1100e out today and this think fn rips now with the rs36
just need to find out whats up with the oil sending unit it comes on when i come out of the hole hard . but if i shut the bike of then start it up its off and then i pull the wire of the oil sending unit and the light wont light up . dont get it if the wire is off the sending unit why dont the light go on reading no pressure?

Pull the switch and check it, then drop the oil pan and clean the screen1978 GS 1000 (since new)
