    What cams do you recomend?

My project is a 1978 GS750E. I am completely rebuilding the head in semi stock fashion. New valves, guides, springs and seals. Existing cams are out of speck so I have looked at Orient Express, Dynoman, and Megacycle. I will use stock tappets(shim on top). Bike is ridden daily but goes to BUB in August. Has pods,V&H 4to 1, and Dyna 2000 ignition. Leaning toward a close to stock grind. Are there any other options? Has anyone heard of Delta Cams in Tacoma Washington ? They have given me a price of $85/cam to meet factory speck. All others are in the $400 to $500 range. Welcome to any suggestions.
    Thanks

How about the stock grind and purchase a set of slotted cam sprockets, then you can fine tune your cam.

New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.

I used delta cams for my boat's 351w - not a motorcycle cam, but pleasant and knowledgeable enough to deal with. I talked to Scott and have been very happy with the cam he recommended.

I agree. Using a degree wheel to place them exactly in factory spec would probably yield the very best results.
