Pingle issue
Ordered a new pingle for my flatslides for the 1100e and it dosnt fit. The adapter screws are too short and the the stem will not go in without cutting a larger opening where the stock petcock mounts. Not really keen on cutting up my tank... is this normal?Tags: None

getting longer screws is a no pain job..but what about maybe grinding a little off the OD so it will go in, or is it really WAY to big???MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

I've had to rat tail file every tank I fitted a Pingle to.
