    Thanks Steve. I got it now. I've noticed double diagrams before on other fiches. Now I see why.

      You guys are amazing. yes it is a new petcock, all nice shiny and chromed

      Oil change this weekend for sure. Maybe even this afternoon.

      Next is valve adjust and carb sync. New thread coming.

        It definitely did have something thinner than oil in the oil when I drained it.

        What I din't understand is I often do forget to turn the petcock off and only twice in about 100 times have I found gas on the ground indicating a problem.

        I wonder what is different? It is always on the center stand because I don't like side stands so I ruled out the bike leaning over.

        I wish I knew.
