1000L motor with 1100L carbs fuel problem

we resently put a 1000 motor on a 1100 bike but kept the 1100 carbs have not cleaned them out which I now would be a must! theres a problem with idle and 1/4 -1/2 throttle. now has 4 to 1 pipes. would there be a problem with the 1100 carbs sending to much fuel to the motor??? anyway not running as should.

The carbs will not force any extra fuel into the engine. There needs to be a certain amount of air flow across the jets to get them to deliver fuel. With larger carbs on the engine, you may not be getting enough fuel.

You will either need to get proper-size carbs or re-jet the ones you have.
