    well, got it all straightened out, its not perfect but i got the crushed piped to where it wont effect the flow and the sharp dent out

          now i got a question, dose that mount really goes to the top mount of the shock? thats the only place where it reaches.
          btw, its quieter then stock and deeper, I LIKE IT!
          now just need to do some cleaning

              i am impressed, good job on getting the dents out. yes that looks like it is supposed to mount there. it is not uncommon to use that top shock nut as an exhaust mount
              1978 GS1085.

              Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!
