Fuel Line Hose Clamps?

Are there any hose clamps on the fuel line supply at the carbs, at the petcock and at the fuel sending unit drain?
I do not remember seeing any on my bike.

There are some there from the factory, but are usually pitched when a previous owner changes the fuel line.

They pitch the clamps because they use the wrong fuel line, and the clamps don't fit.

If you go to the auto parts store, you will only find 1/4" or 5/16" line. The stock line is 7mm.
1/4" line is 6.25mm, so you will have to really stretch it to fit the 7mm fittings.
5/16" line is 8mm, so you HAVE to use clamps to cinch it down to the fittings.
Both of those (wrong) fuel lines are also extra-thick, as they are designed for fuel-injected systems that might have up to 100 psi, so they don't tend to stretch well over the fittings.

Simply purchasing the proper fuel line gives you the right stuff, and LOTS OF IT. The apparently high price for the fuel line (about $12) actually gets you about six feet of hose, enough for several bikes.

The Suzuki stuff is good. Next best is the 7mm cloth braided stuff from an independent BMW or Volvo car repair shop. The rest suck for this application.

i prefer to use clear fuel pipe, then you can see if there is any fuel delivery issues to the carbs.
