Fuel pipe where does it go? 82gs850

I took apart my bike and I have one fuel pipe opposite the pet cock coming out of the carbs and I am not sure where it goes. I think it goes to the fuel tank on that side but the line is some much larger than the metal tube coming off the tank.

I am sure this is a dumb question but in a year or two I will have answer for others from all the great info I learn here.

This should help tell you where everything goes. If you ever get stuck, hit Basscliffs site. It's usually faster than waiting for answers.

      This one needs a picture.

Just can't imagine where anything comes out of the carbs "opposite the petcock".

The only lines that come out of the carbs:
Between carbs 1 & 2 and between 3 & 4, there are vent tubes connected to the "T"s between the carbs.
Between carbs 2 & 3, there is a fuel line that goes to the larger fitting on the petcock.
From the engine side of carb 2, there is a vacuum line that goes tot he smaller fitting on the petcock.
