    Measuring Float Height

Hey guys, I'm sure most of you saw that I acquired a tool to measure my actual fuel level. I have a pretty simple question.

When I connect my tool to the drain hole where should I hold the clear tube to measure? My carbs are not level on either of my bikes. So if I hold the clear tube to the rear of the bike the fuel level looks lower from the bowl gasket and if I hold to the front of the bike it looks higher to the gasket. My manual says 5mm from the gasket +/- .5, well depending on where I hold the clear tube for measuring I could easily be outside of that .5.

Catch my drift? Kinda hard to explain in text. I can post pics if no one understands what I mean.

I've measured the 1 and 4 carbs so far and they look dead nuts, I just want to be sure.

Nevermind, dumb question! The service manual shows dead in the middle. This made logical sense to me before asking.
