Left cylinder cold
I have a nice blue spark on the left side but the cylinder isn't firing. Pulling the plug shows unignited gas on the plug. I've swapped the plug wires to rule out an ignition issue. Now, I'm getting ready to yank the carbs to see if something is messed up in the left carb.Tags: None

If you have a spark on the cylinder and you tip fuel in there it should at least fire up for a few seconds. Has it got compression on that cylinder?79 GS1000S

I had to do a valve adjustment to fix mine when it had a cold cylinder. Though I believe mine had never been done until this year
