    ACTUALLY, they are designed to keep heat in the pipes to INCREASE scavenging. They serve the same purpose as ceramic coating without the corrosion resistance. They help pull heat OUT of the engine. Therefore, the above underlined is NOT true! Ray.

          If the bike never gets wet, you will have no issues. If you ride in the rain the wrap will hold water & the pipes will rust. Ray.
