    Dip Needle Valve?

I've only dipped one carb so far and it occurs to me that the needle valve's screen has a hard plastic that holds it in place. I have removed it from the dip and it appears fine (after about an hour and a half sitting in there). Should I dip the other needle valves?

Take the screen off the float seat.
The needle valve can be dipped.
Take the screen off with a small screwdriver into a towel so it doesn't land in the next county.

      Removing Needle Valve screen

I'm assuming the screen just pops off prying it off with a little screwdriver but they don't seem to want to come off, don't want to crack the plastic.
