vacuum line routing

Hey, I was going to see if you guys could help my with a possible vacuum problem. My bike wont start after having the tank off, and iv had to have messed something up. It ran fine but now just cranks but will fire and run briefly on ether. I have fuel in the bowels and have spark
Between 1 and 2 went to the vaccume nipple on the petcock.
Between 2 and 3 went to the fuel nipple on the petcock.
Between 3 and 4 there was just the plastic piece, nothing at all there.

Where does 3-4 go to??

the 2 pipes with blue tape on circled in green and yellow are breather pipes, just pipes that go to your airbox (if fitted).
the vacuum pipe that goes from the carbs to the petcock is on the top front of carb #2, somewhere near where you can see your clutch cable running between the carbs.
