    GS1000 Fuelling with Harris Exhaust

Finally got my Harris exhaust although not sure what to do about the fuelling, should I buy a dynojet kit or just raise the needles a little as has been suggested elsewhere on this site.

Dynojet looks a little expensive for not a great deal, some larger main jets would be a few quid if bought seperatly

Any help would be much appreciated.

have you got stock air filter?
when i first got my 78 GS1000 it was completely stock except for a Harris pipe with race baffle. it ran perfect with stock main jets and just the needles raised 1 notch.
obviously you should do a few plug chops on yours just to be on the safe side, as no 2 bikes are really identical.

Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!

Agemax, standard airbox and race baffle (just a hole really) feels like it is gasping a bit at higher revs

      Cheers

try raising the needles a notch, see if it helps
