Main jet washer, HUH?
During the rebuild this time of my carbs I found some odd things. Three of the main jet washers are thick brass like washers while the fourth is a thin steel washer. I asume that the previous owner lost one and replaced it with the steel one. Is this ok? If not where can I get a new one?
Also I found that I am unable to remove one og the air mix needles. Any ideas? I have tried soaking, heat and even thought about taking it to a machine shop. Thank You, ShaunTags: None

The thin steel one would probably change the height of the jet, which could affect the fuel mixture. You could probably get away with stacking 2-3 thinner washers, if you could find them of the correct size, but it would be better to just find an original one. Ask over in the parts wanted forum, I'm sure someone can drop one into an envelope for you.
Regarding the air mixture screw, there are some threads on this already... First option is to dremel a slot into the carb body (doesn't hurt it) and partway into the screw to get more leverage with a big screwdriver. Second option is to try to remove it with left-hand drill bits. You have to be extremely careful with both. A machine shop could get it out, but you'll pay a pretty penny unless you know someone.
