Suzuki thought so, thats what they put on them. Always wondered how much HP you could make with them VS bigger hi dollar carbs

I bolted a set of 36 mm carbs from an 1150 on my 80 GS1100. Big difference, love the throttle response. I bought them for $50.00. When I took them apart to run through my ultrasonic cleaner, I found out the previous owner had already installed a stage 3 Dynojet kit.
Anyway, they're way cheaper than flatslides & although they don't give the same power boost, they do make a huge difference.80 gs1100 16-v ported & polished, 1 mm oversize intake valves, 1150 carbs w/Dynojet stage 3, plus Bandit/gsxr upgrades
