    Back From the dead

So I've been a member of the forum since the beginning of 2012 but have had a series of problems throughout the year. Things have started to get better. For those of you who remember my son was going to a very difficult time with lung problems since he was only a few months old. Things are doing much better and he is healthy and strong after some really hard months of medication.

So now is time to finally get started with the bike. I am going to rebuild the carbs but I mentioned last time that I broke one of the float post in one of the end carburetors. I tried JB welding it and it seems to hold up strong. But I want your recommendation. I bought a set of carbs from a motorcycle junk yard about 3 months ago. And to my surprise, the same carb body has both post broken, so that didn't work. Any Ideas? My diaphragms have been out of the carbs since last year. Is that going to be a problem? do I need new diaphragms too?

    Thanks in advance

Best of luck to your son on his recovery

on the carb, some members have had luck with JB weld, and a few have welded the post

I'd post up what carb you want in the Parts Wanted section and/or PM chef1366 - he usually has some extra CV carb bodies
