    Mikuni 29mm smoothbore cables

Ok, either the sun is baking my brain or I need to order a different cable for my mikuni smoothbores. I 'thought' the stock cable would work fine but when I go to hook up the cables, to install the 'pull' cable the throttle actually has to be pulled up a fair amount. Am I doing something wrong here or do I need to order a specific cable?

Ya, that's what I thought. I must be doing something wrong. Hey another thing I noticed, there is no vacuum port on these carbs. Is everyone switching to manual petcocks with these carbs?

I've been reading a bit about guys changing from dual cables to a single. I'm not sure if they are simply just taking out the one cable or switching the throttle assembly for a single pull one.

That's what I did to put the smoothbores on my KZ1105 Kawasaki. With the spring they have on them you don't need the return cable
