needing help please!
sorry if this is a repost but i am at the completely out of ideas now. it is a 79 gs850 stage 3 jet kit and pod air-filter upgrade. i am at a lost cause the bike was running great up until about 3 weeks ago when stator burnt out. after replacing the stator thinking that was my only issue, the bike will idle and rev up fine in neutral but once a load is put on the engine the bike bogs down and will not move past 10mph. it chokes and that stalls out and really hard to start. even backfires. kick start does not allow me to use it it just fights back. i checked timing and all is correct. even opened and checked cam timing and ever thing seems to check out. compression is 125 on all cylinders. rally confused at this point. any help and i would greatly appreciate it.Tags: None

You have a jet kit in the carbs, were they properly cleaned, also?
Are the valves adjusted?
Is there a fuel filter in the line?
